Sewer Hook-up Assistance

If you:

• Own and occupy a property in York County and are required to connect the property to a sanitary sewer system
• Have income that does not exceed the following requirements:

1	$35,650
2	$40,750
3	$45,850
4	$50,950

People meeting program eligibility criteria can receive a deferred payment loan.  The cost of the sewer hook-up will be paid by the program.  A mortgage against the property will be filed as collateral.  You do not have to repay any of the loan amount as long as you own and live in the property.  Any time the property is sold, transferred, inherited, rented or otherwise disposed of, the amount of the loan will have to be repaid.  No interest charges will be added to the original amount.  The loan may be repaid at any time before any of the conditions above at the discretion of the borrower.
