Senior Games
The mission of the York County Senior Games is to promote healthy lifestyles and fitness for York County men and women age 50 and over through competitive and noncompetitive activities. The 2010 Senior Games will be held June 20 through June 26. Join us for a fun filled week during the 2010 York County Senior Games. This year 57 different events will be featured at 19 locations in York County. New events for 2010 include Pickleball, Racquetball and Soccer Kick.
Any York County resident 50 years of age or older as of December 31, 2010 is eligible to participate. Registration fee is $6 for an unlimited amount of events. The fee for all registrations postmarked after May 29 is $8.
The Opening Ceremony will be at the Springettsbury Township Park on Sunday, June 20th at 6:00 PM. The week of events will end with a newly designed Closing Celebration on Saturday, June 26th beginning at 3:00 PM at Central York High School.
All past participants will receive a Registration Booklet in the mail after March 15th. New participants can download the Registration Booklet and form from the 'Forms & Doucments' page or contact the York County Area Agency on Aging at (717) 771-9001 or 1-800-632-9073 for further information.
