Senior Centers
York County’s senior community centers serve as places where older persons may come for fellowship and activities. Senior centers help to provide companionship, enhance the dignity of older adults, support their independence, and encourage involvement in and with the community.
Senior centers provide a nutritious meal served at noon, and daily programmed activities. The activities and programs include movies, games, sports, educational events, crafts, music and trips to places of interest and fun. All centers also engage in fund raising activities.
If you need transportation, it can be arranged through your nearest center.
Senior centers are open at least 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. Call your local center for program details and information.
