Flu Shots at Senior Centers

     Walgreens Pharmacy is offering Flu Shots to anyone 18 years of age and older at the the participating Senior Centers by pre-scheduled appointments only.  Individuals wanting to get their Flu Shot MUST visit the senior center prior to the clinic date to complete the Walgreens Registration Form and obtain an appointment time for their flu shot.  Bring your Medicare and Insurance Cards.

• Medicare Part B will cover the cost of the Flu shot.  NO MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLANS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY WALGREENS.  There will be a $29.99 fee for the flu shot for individuals who do not have Medicare Part B coverage, including anyone with a Medicare Advantage Plan.  Receipts will be provided for individuals who would like to attempt to get reimbursed from their Medicare Advantage plan.
• Pneumococcal vaccine (Pneumonia shots) will be offered.  There will be a $63.99 fee for those not covered by Medicare Part B.
• The fees are payable by check only to Walgreens.  No cash will be accepted.

Important notice for individuals interested in getting flu shots at the Red Land Senior Center located at 850 Whisler Road, Etters.
Call the Red Land Senior Center at (717) 938-4649 if you are interested in getting your Flu Shot at the Senior Center.  Call the Center by September 15th.  A clinic will be scheduled for late September or early October at this location if an adequate number of individuals sign up for this clinic.
